There are so many things that make a photograph work. Is it in the smile of a beautiful bride on her wedding day, the magic of a couple’s newly found love for each other, a high school senior who is about to embark on a life of his own? Or, is it the photographer’s ability to capture, for just a moment, the subtle and fleeting moments that make us who we are?

I actually got my start as an anthrolopogical photographer documenting people's lives and following the work of other photojournalists. I traveled extensively throughout Africa, Europe and Southern Russia capturing the lives of indigenous cultures. I've had the pleasure of working with notables such as Jane Goodall, Steve McCurry and William Albert Allard.

I believe the relationship between the photographer and subject ties everything together. Once that connection is made, beautiful things happen and fabulous images are born.

I love working with people and I love capturing great images that tell their stories. I truly love my art and I think that love comes through in the images I take. My wife Natalya Alexandra is not only my business partner, but she and our two little boys, AJ and TJ, are my inspiration.

I'm so very thankful for the wonderful people I've worked with and I look forward to new friendships in the future.
