Melissa and Cameron’s Engagement in La Jolla, San Diego!

We are travelers at heart and we absolutely love the west coast, for it never fails to lend a certain uniqueness to everything it touches, including the photos we were soon to take. When Melissa and Cameron invited us to take their engagement photos in San Diego we were thrilled! There is just so much variety; with it’s craggy colorful shores, soft and sandy beaches, palm trees, and cool Pacific breezes, LA Jolla San Diego offered all the ingredients Melissa and Cameron needed for an amazing engagement photo session. Toss in some splashing in the ocean, loving glances, and a beautiful sunset, and we had a complete recipe for a true love photo story that would make any soon-to-be married couple weak in the knees. We started off taking some photos along the shoreline and before we knew it we were all knee deep in Pacific sun, and the rising ocean tide; while cool splashing waves took over our beach and feat, we were able to capture some really amazing images both in the water and out. Apryl and Larry at the Waterworks in Philadelphia

The weather is finally getting nicer and as the signs of the spring finally emerge we are thrilled to see more engagement sessions appear on our calendar as well. We met Apryl and Larry at the popular picturesque spot in Philadelphia – that area behind the Art museum, where we can use a variety of different city elements for our background. A bit of city line, a bit of grand architecture, some riverscapes, and plenty of greenery – it all comes together to create a vivid scene for a perfect engagement session. April and Larry brought a lot of their own uniqueness – from bright peach and blue colors they wore to the little cute props they brought with them, it all just made for a fun and wonderful afternoon as we worked with this awesome couple to capture their love for each other. We are looking forward for Apryl and Larry’s wedding day later this year; meanwhile here are some of our favorites from our spring fun in the sun.

Natasha and Nick’s Engagement in Washington Crossing Park

We could hardly wait for spring – a busy season for engagements as couples are eager to get outside and get some beautiful photos done as nature comes back to life. We met Natasha and Nick at Washington Crossing State Park and took a stroll along the river, utilizing the historic buildings in the park, the bridge over Delaware River, and – hooray – even a few reappearing buds and flowers! We loved how Natasha and Nick looked at each other, held each other, walked and interacted together; it was easy to see how much they cared about one another and how much love they shared. We can’t wait for this couple’s big day in a few months, just so we get to work with them again!
