Haley and Kwazi’s Engagement in Philadelphia

Haley and Kwazi share a beautiful story of how they met. Long story short, it happened thanks to the South African word “ubuntu” – a philosophy of human kindness and togetherness – tattooed on Haley’s wrist. Kwazi, a South African native, proposed to Haley in his homeland sometime later. Now the couple lives in Philadelphia and often bikes through Fairmont area – the place where we got together to shoot their engagement session. Their bikes came in so handy – we got a ton of shots unique to Haley and Kwazi. It was such a fun afternoon and it was a pure pleasure to capture Haley and Kwazi’s personalities, which just shined through every image.

Stephanie and Matt’s Engagement at Race Street Pier

Stephanie and Matt used to live down the street from the Race Street Pier, so they selected that spot on the Delaware River in Old City for their engagement session. We were gifted with a sunny afternoon that day, which allowed for some awesome play of light in photos. We did some more shots at the Elfreth’s Alley – Philadelphia and the nation’s oldest residential street a few blocks from the pier. Our visit to the alley added some old city flare to the shoot. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple!

Joanna and Chris’ Engagement Picnic

We love casual shoots – they are just so relaxed and natural! Joanna and Chis decided to have a picnic and an engagement shoot at the same time – and what a great idea that turned out to be! With the help of some lemonade, cherries, and this fun couple’s personality the photos came out great! And the lemonade, by the way, was delicious. Looking forward to Chris and Joanna’s wedding next year!
