Kelly and John’s Wedding at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown

Kelly and John, Doylestown natives, made sure their wedding is as local as it could get. Following a beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Mt Carmel on State St, we made a quick stop at the town’s hallmark, the County Theater for a photo. We then we headed over to Aldie Masion right down the road where stunning landscapes and building architecture served as amazing backgrounds for the remainder of the photos and, of course, the reception. We had some time before the party started so we were able to capture so many images of the gorgeous couple, so obviously happy and in love. As the night of dancing lead by a Doylestown-based band went on (so much fun!), we stole Kelly and John once again for a few minutes to take some stunning night time shots. Nicholas’ Baptism at St George Greek Orthodox Church in Media

As family came together to celebrate Nicholas’ Baptism at St George Greek Orthodox Church in Media, we were honored to not only witness this beautiful greek tradition, but also to be there for Nicholas’ family as photographers. The family, our dear friends and neighbors, has always welcomed us at many family celebrations, and we loved being a part of yet another intimate ceremony. Dancing, delicious food, and an amazing sail boat cake came after the ceremony as everyone who came from near and far to celebrate Nicholas gathered in the church’s banquet hall. Congratulations to Nicholas and his family on this beautiful rite of passage!

Chakrika’s Half-Saree Family Celebration

Indian tradition of a half-saree brings together the whole family to celebrate a girl’s coming of age. This intimate ceremony began with the presentation of various gifts and blessings given to Chakrika by her grandparents. Halfway through the ceremony Chakrika received her first saree; as she put it on and entered the next stage of her life, it was easy to feel all the love and pride in the room as her family came together to celebrate Chakrika and her rite of passage. Family, tradition, love, and happiness all came together to make Chakrika’s day very special; and so it was. Congratulations to Chakrika!
